Players can capture Black-Coated Pigs and sell them to the Merchant Alliance for money. The Merchant Alliance sees many creatures such as Pigs to be valuable for profit. This creature will also drown if under water for too long. This creature is weak and can be killed easily. The player must chase them down and catch them using Pig Crates. Upon approaching the creature it will flee the player like the chickens. This type of Pig is found on islands around the world of Sea of Thieves. The Black-Coated Pig is the second most valuable Pig in the game. The creature is encountered often on various islands. The Black-Coated Pig is a variant of Pig in Sea of Thieves.
